Dr Arjun Kumaran

Dr Arjunan Kumaran graduated from the Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine, National University of Singapore (NUS) and holds a Graduate Diploma in Family Medicine and a Certificate in Men’s Health. He is a member of the College of Family Physicians Singapore and Royal College of Surgeons Edinburgh and a Ministry of Manpower Designated Workplace Doctor for Compressed Air Works (which includes activities such as recreational SCUBA diving). He also holds Certificates of Competence in Botulinum Toxin (Botox), Dermal Fillers, Chemical Peels and Intense Pulsed Light from National Skin Centre, Singapore.
​Before pursuing a career in Family Medicine, he gained experience in Orthopaedics, General Surgery, Internal Medicine, Obstetrics and Gynaecology, Emergency Medicine, Eye, Ear, Nose and Throat and Urology and was a specialist trainee in Radiation Oncology (Cancer) with the National Cancer Centre Singapore. There he was awarded the Junior Doctor Teaching Award by NUS and published several articles in medical journals and presented at international conferences.
Beyond clinical work, he also volunteers with HealthServe, a non-profit non-government organisation, to provide medical care for migrant workers in Singapore and serves as a member of the Breast Cancer Foundation, a social service agency with the mission to eradicate breast cancer as a life-threatening disease.
