Dr Lim graduated with a Doctor of Medicine degree from the University of New South Wales, Australia in 2013.

He is registered on the Family Physician register with various post-graduate qualifications: graduate diploma in sports medicine (NTU), Masters of Medicine in Family Medicine (NUS), and the Fellowship of the College of Family Physicians.

Dr Lim completed his NHG family medicine residency training in 2018 with experience in medical and surgical departments, geriatrics, paediatrics, obstetrics and gynaecology, adult and paediatric emergency departments. He was serving as an associate consultant family physician with NHG Polyclinics prior to joining Intemedical.

Dr Lim is also a keen educator and was awarded the NHG Teaching Award in 2020. He is an adjunct lecturer with the NTU School of Medicine and is also active in the College of Family Physicians. He was previously a faculty member of the NHG family medicine residency programme and a clinical tutor with the NUS School of Medicine.

Dr Lim has interests in chronic diseases, geriatrics and dementia, with clinical and research experience in dementia. He is also well versed in sports injuries, exercise prescription and musculoskeletal conditions.

Outside of medicine, Dr Lim is a keen sportsman participating in marathons and triathlons regularly.
